Although The Marketing Co-Op is an email-based system, it is not spam. Spam by current definitions is "the flooding of the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it."

The Marketing Co-Op is strongly opposed to the practice of sending unsolicited and unwanted emails and has taken several steps to prevent this abuse of our system.

1. The Marketing Co-Op has created a simple, automated system for people receiving email from any of our subscribers to "opt-out" of future mailings.
2. If someone has opted-out of future emailings or has requested so by email, the system will not allow that person's email address back into their active contact database.
3. If a subscriber attempts to violate this policy by attempting to resend to anyone who has requested off their mailing list, this will be considered grounds for termination without refund from The Marketing Co-Op.

The improper use of The Marketing Co-Op, LLC by any customer will cause that customer's services to be terminated immediately and without warning and without compensation or refund. This policy will be strictly enforced. Please remember that abusive behavior can severely damage your online reputation and business, as well as ours. The Marketing Co-Op will not tolerate such incidents.

If you do not wish to receive any more emails from members of The Marketing Co-Op, please click the link in your Marketing Co-Op postcard that reads, "if you feel you received this email by mistake, or simply wish to opt-out of future mailings from The Marketing Co-Op, click here." Please remember that clicking this link will only remove you from that one specific person's mailing list. If you are on multiple mailing lists, you will need to repeat this process with other the emails that you no longer wish to receive.

If after opting-out of future mailings, you still feel as if you are receiving unrequested emails from a Marketing Co-Op member, please email us at spam@themarketingcoop.com. You must include your name, email address, and the email address of the person who sent you the email postcard.
