Like most good ideas, The Marketing Co-op was born out of neccesity as a method to save money and create better productivity.

With postal and telemarketing bills spiraling into the tens of thousands of dollars per year, the founders of The Marketing Co-op needed a way to bring their advertising and marketing costs down, without sacrificing the ability to stay connected to their client base.

As this new communication portal was being developed and implemented, friends and associates loved the concept so much, they asked if they could use the system to market to their contacts as well. As people began to use this innovative, email based tool, they would also offer suggestions on features and improvements to make the system even better and easier to use.

Soon the word spread, and companies and individuals from all over were inquiring as to how they could use this "online marketing co-operative" to stay connected to their database.

After some slight reconfiguration and programming to create an even more comprehensive online marketing destination, The Marketing Co-op was launched with much fanfare.
